Virginian-Pilot  January 15, 1907
Mrs. Annie Virginia Hickey, wife of Timothy Hickey, died at her late residence, 
No. 7 Virginia street, Sunday afternoon, from a week’s illness of pneumonia, in 
the 56th year of her age. The deceased was possessed of many excellent traits of 
character and had numerous friends who have learned with sorrow of her death. 
Besides her husband, she is survived by seven children, viz: Burke Hickey, Mrs. 
Joseph Lawler, Mrs. Benjamin Hatton and Misses Ailene, Bessie, Catherine and Lucy 
Hickey. The funeral will be solemnized from St. Mary’s Catholic church, of which 
she was a member, at 10 o’clock this morning.
