Virginian-Pilot  December 1, 1904
James Hickey, son of Dennis and the late Mrs. Catherine Hickey, died in 
Washington, D.C., Tuesday afternoon, aged 22 years. The remains will arrive in 
Norfolk via the Washington steamer this morning and will be conveyed to the 
residence of his uncle, Mr. Timothy Hickey, No. 7 Virginia street. The funeral 
will be solemnized from St. Mary’s Catholic church at 10 o’clock Friday morning.
