Virginian-Pilot January 12, 1945
Charles Thomas Hickman, aged 84 years, husband of Mrs. Ida Elizabeth Hickman, 
former resident of Norfolk, died Wednesday morning at 6:30 o'clock at Baltimore, 
where he had made his home for a number of years. Besides his wife, he is survived 
by one son, George H. Hickman, of Norfolk; two daughters, Mrs. Thomas Bickers, of 
Norfolk, and Mrs. W. E. Blackburn, of Richmond. Services will be held at the grave 
in Elmwood Cemetery this afternoon with the Rev. P. Rowland Wagner, pastor of 
Central Baptist Church, officiating.
