VIRGINIA BEACH - George Hunter Hickman, 81, of 1600 Little Neck Road, husband of 
Mrs. Mary Bright Hickman and son of Charles Thomas and Mrs. Rosalee Wallace 
Hickman, died in his home Sunday at 7:40 a.m.
A lifelong resident of the Norfolk area, he was a retired real estate dealer. He 
was a member of Owens Masonic Lodge 164, Royal Arch Chapter 1, Grice Commandery, 
Knights Templar 16 and Scottish Rite Bodies.
Besides his wife, he is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Calista H. Johnson of 
Virginia Beach; three sons, G. Hunter Hickman, Jr. of Norfolk, Charles Carlton 
Hickman of Virginia Beach, and John Blair Hickman of Richmond; two sisters, Mrs. 
T. O. Bickers of Norfolk and Mrs. Rosalee Blackburn of Richmond; and eight 
grandchildren.
A funeral service will be conducted in H. D. Oliver Funeral Apartments, Laskin 
Road, Tuesday at 2 p.m. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery.
