Funeral services for James Hicks will be held Sunday, May 12 at 2:30 p.m. at 
Riddick Funeral Home.  He was a native of Princess Anne County,VA, and 
resided at 1319 Virginia Beach Blvd.  He died in a local hospital May 6, at 
2:50 a.m.

Mr. Hicks was the son of the late James and Marion Hicks of Princess Anne 
County, VA.  He is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Mabel Mitchell, Norfolk;  
Mrs. Bessie Scott, New York City;  two sons, Sgt. Richard Jackson of Ft. 
Belvoir, VA;  Garland Jackson of Norfolk and six grandchildren.

Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery.
