Norfolk Virginian November 12, 1893

Today at 2 o'clock p.m. the funeral of Mrs. Frankie E. Hicks, wife of Mr. 
W.M. Hicks, formerly of Norfolk, now of Washington, D.C., will be preached 
at McKendree, Revs. J.T. Mastin and W.J. Edwards officiating.  Deceased was 
the sister of Mrs. John Gordon, of 1404 Brambleton avenue.

HICKS - At Washington, D.C., on Thursday, November 9th, 1893, at 9:55 p.m., 
FRANKIE E., wife of W.M. Hicks.
Funeral will take place from McKendree M.E. Church THIS (Sunday) AFTERNOON 
at 2 o'clock.  Friends and acquaintances are respectfully invited to attend.
