 The Virginian Pilot Saturday June 6, 1964
Mrs. Lillie Wells Higgason, 88, of 2905 Colonial Ave., widow of Rev. Edgar 
T. Higgason and daughter of Lee H. and Mrs. Virginia Wells, died in a 
Norfolk hospital Friday at 12:30 a.m.
Mrs. Higgason, a native of Chesterfield County, lived in Norfolk 47 years. 
She was a member of Temple Baptist Church. 
She is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Charles M. Hagler, and a son, Fred 
Higgason, both of Norfolk.
A funeral service will be conducted in Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home Sunday at 
4 p.m. by the Rev. William T. Lumpkin of Freemason Street Baptist Church. 
Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery.
