Virginian-Pilot May 18, 1966
PORTSMOUTH - Robert L. Higginbotham, 74, a native of Portsmouth and former 
resident of Tampa, Fla., died Sunday in Colorado Springs.
He was the husband of the late Mrs. Jessie Ellsworth Higginbotham and a son of 
David R. and Mrs. Annie Elizabeth Satterfield Higginbotham.
He was a member of Norfolk Masonic Lodge 1.
Survivors include a brother, Charles F. Higginbotham of Portsmouth, and a sister-
in-law, Mrs. W. R. Seadler of Norfolk.
The body will be taken from H. D. Oliver Funeral Apartments, Norfolk, to Elmwood 
Cemetery for a funeral service Thursday at noon by the Rev. O. Edwyn Luttrell of 
Larchmont Baptist Church.
