Miss Higgins was a native of Norfolk and a lifelong resident of this section. She resided at the Pocahontas Cottage, Virginia Beach. She was a member of the Episcopal Church. Surviving her are one niece, Mrs. Taylor Prescott, of Norfolk; two nephews, William and Macon Higgins, and several great-nieces and nephews. Services will be held at the chapel of the H.D. Oliver funeral apartments, 1501 Colonial avenue, Friday afternoon at 4 o'clock, with the Rev. Moultrie Guerry, rector of Old St. Paul's Episcopal Church, officiating. Interment will be in Cedar Grove Cemetery.
