Virginian-Pilot November 30, 1967
NORFOLK - Mrs. Florence Rogers Higgins, 77, of 813 Manteo St. died Wednesday in a 
hospital.
She was the wife of John Robert Higgins and a daughter of T. F. and Mrs. Adelaide 
March Rogers.
A Norfolk native, she was a lifelong resident of this area. She was a member of 
Christ and St. Luke's Episcopal Church.
Surviving, besides her husband, is a sister, Miss Mary Virginia Rogers of Norfolk.
The body will be taken from H. D. Oliver Funeral Apartments to Selden Chapel of 
Christ and St. Luke's Episcopal Church for a funeral service Friday at 11 a.m. by 
the Rev. George Estes. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery.
