MRS. NELLIE ALLEN HIGGINS, widow of William T. Higgins, and daughter of the late 
William F. and Mrs. Margaret Griffin Allen, died yesterday morning at 2:30 
o'clock.  Mrs. Higgins was a native and lifelong resident of Norfolk.

Mrs. Higgins is survived by two sons, William P. and Maitland Higgins, of New 
York; one sister, Mrs. J. Ware Jones, of Philadelphia; two brothers, James E. 
Allen, of Virginia Beach, and Joseph B. Allen, of Lorton, and a number of nieces 
and nephews.

Funeral services will be conducted tomorrow morning at 10 o'clock at St. Mary's 
Catholic Church.
