Virginian-Pilot  August 24, 1937
Arthur F. Higgins, age 42 years, husband of Mrs. Ethel B. Higgins and son of the 
late Michael P. and Mrs. Mary K. Higgins, died Sunday night at 11:40 o’clock at a 
local hospital. Mr. Higgins resided at 1203 Atlantic avenue, Virginia Beach.
Besides his wife, Mrs. Ethel B. Higgins, he is survived by one daughter, Miss Mary 
Patricia Higgins, of Virginia Beach, and three brothers, John, Leo and William 
Higgins, of Lawrence, Mass.
Remains will be taken from H. D. Oliver’s Funeral Apartments, 610-12 East 
Freemason street, to Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church for services this morning 
at 10 o’clock. Interment will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery. Mr. Higgins was a member 
of the Marine Engineers Association.
