Funeral services from St. Mary's Church, this city, THIS (Thursday) MORNING at 10 o'clock. Norfolk Virginian Thursday January 16, 1896 Information was received in this city yesterday of the death on Tuesday night at St. Agnes' Hospital, Baltimore, of Mr. William Taylor Higgins, who was well known here, having married Miss Allen, of this city. His funeral will take place from St. Mary's Catholic Church this morning at 10 o'clock. ******************************************************************** Obsequies of the Late William Taylor Higgins The funeral of the late William Taylor Higgins, who died at St. Agnes' Hospital, Baltimore, last Tuesday, took place from St. Mary's Catholic Church, this city, at 10 o'clock yesterday morning and was conducted by Rev. Father Doherty. The interment was in Cedar Grove Cemetery. The honorary pallbearers being Messrs. Edward Bradford, Hunter Woodis, John Vermillion, W.N. Waller, William Camp, James Reid, Leroy H. Shields and Robert DeJarnette. Six colored men handled the casket.
