The Virginian-Pilot, Sunday, October 11, 1970

NORFOLK - Junius N. Highter of 1516 Cary St. died Thursday after a short 
illness.

A native of Norfolk, he was the son of J.E. and Mrs. Ollie Highter and the 
husband of Mrs. Viola Highter.

He was employed by Greyhound Van Lines and a veteran of the Korean War.

Besides his parents and wife, he is survived by a son, Norman Highter; a 
daughter, Miss Deborah Highter; six brothers, Alexander Highter, Arthur Highter, 
Nazareth Highter, Cordia Highter, Clarence Highter, and Alfred Highter; and 
three sisters, Mrs. Gertrude Ashburn, Mrs. Ollie Butts, and Mrs. Jessie Jordan, 
all of Norfolk.

Hale Funeral Home is in charge.

Additional Comments:
NORFOLK - A funeral service for Junius N. Highter will be held Sunday at 1:30 
p.m. in Hale Funeral Home by the Rev. J.L. Learney. Burial will be in Calvary 
Cemetery.
