Virginian-Pilot, The (Norfolk, VA) - December 1, 1990
Alfred Highter, of the 900 block of Hanson Ave., died Nov. 27, 1990, in a
nursing home.

Mr. Highter was a native of Norfolk.

Survivors include his wife, Mary Highter; two daughters, Revie Staton and Lois
Staton, both of Norfolk; a sister, Gertrude Highter of New Jersey; three
brothers, Clarence Highter, Alexander Highter and Litley Highter, all of
Norfolk; and four grandchildren.

The funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Monday in Graves Funeral Home by Elder
Robert Holland. Burial will be in Magnolia Cemetery. Friends may join the family
at 1834 Greenleaf Drive.
