Margaret Carroll Hightower, 84, a native and former resident of Norfolk, died Aug. 
25, 1990, in her home.

Mrs. Hightower was a former secretary to the Norfolk City Treasurer and had 
retired in 1975.

Survivors include two sons, Raymond Hightower of Poulsbo and John Hightower of 
Alexandria; a sister, Kathryn Mercer of Virginia Beach; 13 grandchildren and five 
great-grandchildren.

A memorial Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Saturday in Sacred Heart Catholic 
Church, Norfolk. Lewis Funeral Home, Bremerton, handled arrangements.

Memorial donations may be made to the American Heart Association.
