Funeral services for Miss Chelsea Bernice Hill who died at her home 
Saturday, Nov. 6, after a short illness were held from the First Baptist 
Church, Berkley avenue, Tuesday, Nov. 9 with the pastor, the Rev. J. C. 
Diamond officiating, assisted by Rev. W. L. Hamilton, pastor of Shiloh 
Baptist Church.

Miss Hill was stricken with blindness nearly seventeen years ago.  She did 
not consider her affliction a handicap but instead used it to advantage in 
helping others.

She is survived by three sisters, five brothers, five aunts and other 
relatives.

During the services a solo was rendered by Mrs. Mayme Linnette.  Interment 
was in the family plot in Mt. Olive Cemetery.
