Hill of 113 Chapel street, who died Oct. 30 in a nursing home, was given final rites Thursday at Queen Street Baptist Church by the Rev. J. J. Freeman. Burial was in the family plot in Calvary Cemetery with Hale Funeral Home in charge. A native of Sussex County, she was the widow of John Hill and a daughter of Mrs. Laura Jackson. She was a member of Rose of Sharon Club, Progressive Bible Class and Missionary Circle of Queen Street Baptist Church. She taught Sunday school 30 years.
