Norfolk - Mrs. Rosa Lena Hill of 941 Gordon avenue, the widow of Thomas Hill 
Sr., died recently in her home.  A native of Norfolk, she was the daughter of 
the late Robert and Mrs. Lydia Richardson.

She was a member of Phyllis Wheatley Circle, Gospel Choir stewardess board, and 
a missionary of St. John AME Church.  She also was a member of the Court of 
Calenthe and the United Order of Tents

Surviving are two sons Thomas Hill Jr., and Robert Hill;  and a daughter, Mrs 
Ida Watson, all of Norfolk;  and two grandchildren.

A funeral service was  held in St. John AME Church, Bute street, by the Rev. A. 
R. Powell.  Burial was in Calvary Cemetery with Hale Funeral Home in charge.
