Hill, aged 61 years, was found dead in her bed at the residence of her daughter, Mrs. Fletcher Day, 709 Fauquier Street, yesterday morning at 7:30 o'clock. She had been in feeble health several months but was able to be up and going around Wednesday. Heart failure was the cause of her death, attributed by Coroner Kight, when he viewed the body yesterday. Mrs. Hill was a native of New Bern, N.C., but had been residing in this section twenty years, where she was well known and respected. She was a widow of the late Captain Joseph Hill and is survived by four children. They are Mrs. Fletcher Day, and Mrs. W.D. Watkins, Joseph H. and Edward Hill, all of this city. Rev. W.T. Green, pastor of Memorial Methodist Church, will conduct the funeral services this afternoon at 3 o'clock and burial will be in Magnolia Cemetery.
