The Virginian-Pilot, Friday, October 13, 1961

PHILADELPHIA - Waverly Hill, 60, of 721 Percy St., died Thursday at 1 p.m. in a 
hospital here after a long illness.

He was a son of Anthony and Mrs. Amersa Hill.

A native of Northwest, Norfolk County, Va., he lived in Norfolk 15 years before 
going to Philadelphia. He was employed there by Reading Railroad Co. for 32 
years.

Surviving are one sister, Mrs. Catherine Holmes, and two brothers, Anthony Hill 
Jr. and Belzona Hill, all of Norfolk.

The body was sent to Graves Funeral Home in Norfolk.

Additional Comments:

NORFOLK - A funeral service for Waverly Hill, 60, who died Thursday in 
Philadelphia, will be held in Graves Funeral Home Thursday at 2 p.m. by the Rev. 
William Butts. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery. The family will assemble at 
1662 Church St.
