Virginian Pilot October 7, 1969 

James M. Hill, of 710 Avenue A, died Sunday in his home.
A native of Whitakers, N.C., he was the husband of Mrs. Lula G. Hill and a son 
of the late Allen and Mrs. Martha Hunter Hill.
He was retired from Seaboard Paint & Supply Co. after more than 20 years.
He was an Army veteran of World War I.
Besides his widow, surviving are four brothers, Robert Lee Hill of Rocky Mount, 
N.C., Arthur Hill of Whitakers, Herman Hill and Ralph Hill of North Carolina; 
and a sister, Miss  Mary Lou Hill of Whitakers.
A funeral service will be held Saturday at 3 p.m. in Riddick Funeral Chapel with 
burial in Calvary Cemetery.
