Marion Diane Hill of the 500 block of Maryland Ave., died April 23, 2004, in her 
residence.

Born in Norfolk, Marion was a classified sales representative with The Virginian-
Pilot for 20 years. She was a member of Basilica of St. Mary of the Immaculate 
Conception, an associate member of Order of Oblate Sisters of Mount Providence and 
member of the Parish Counsel of St. Marys. She graduated from Norfolk Catholic and 
Old Dominion University.

Survivors include four sisters, Linda A. Trotter of Chesapeake, Angela Davis, 
Phyllis Hill and Adrienne M. Payton, all of Norfolk; a brother, Anthony Hill Sr. 
of Norfolk; maternal grandmother, Mable F. Brinkley of Norfolk; and a host of 
nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and other relatives and friends.

A funeral will be conducted at 10 a.m. Wednesday in Basilica of St. Mary of the 
Immaculate Conception by Father John Dorgan. Burial will be in St. Marys Catholic 
Church Cemetery. Viewing will be from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m. Tuesday at Carlos A. 
Howard Funeral Home, Norfolk Chapel. A wake will be held at 7 p.m. Tuesday at the 
church. The family will assemble at the residence at 9 a.m. Wednesday for the
