At one time, he was affiliated with the firm of George Hogan & Co., Atlantic City, and Holmes & Dawson. With several brothers, he had been in business for several years before that. He was a native of Portsmouth and a life-long resident of this area. He was the son of Judge Chandler W. and Mrs. Fannie Collins Hill. He was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church and the Holy Name Society. Surviving are two sons. Antonio Bilisoly Hill and John Calvert Hill of Norfolk; two daughters, Miss Annie Camm Hill of Norfolk, and Sister Louise of Farmington, Mich.; four brothers, J. Chandler Hill and Collins Hill of Norfolk; Lawson Hill of Kinston, N.C., and Baynham M. Hill of New Church, and several nieces and nephews. The body will be taken from the residence to Sacred Heart Catholic Church for funeral services tomorrow at 10 a.m. Burial will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery.
