Mrs. Saddie Brooks Hill, aged 83, widow of William Thomas Hill, died at a local 
hospital Saturday night. For many years Mrs. Hill was a well-known resident of 
Norfolk and was a member of the Episcopal Church. She is survived by a daughter 
(name blurred) of Nashville TN; three sons, William T., Harry V., and James T. 
Hill; three grandchildren, and a number of nieces and nephews. Services will be 
held at H. D. Oliver’s Funeral Apartments, 610-12 East Freemason street, tomorrow 
afternoon at 2 o’clock with the Rev. E. P. Miner, rector of St. Mark’s Episcopal 
Church, officiating. Interment will be in Elmwood Cemetery.
