Funeral services for Mrs. Lovie Hill were conducted August 2 at Pretlows Funeral 
Chapel by the Rev. J. C. Diamond. Burial was in Mt. Olive Cemetery with Pretlows 
Funeral Home in charge.

Mrs. Hill, 1103 Appomattox street, died July 28 at the age of 85 years. She was 
born in Norfolk county and is survived by two sons, William and John Hill; one 
sister, Mrs. Annie Miller, New York City; two nieces, Mrs. Jenny Mae Wood, 
Norfolk, Mrs. Leolia Washington, New York; one nephew, James Miller, Washington; 
two grandchildren, Mrs. Beatrice Williams, and Robert Hill, both of New York.
