Virginian Pilot and The Norfolk Landmark April 15, 1923

Mrs. Eliza Hill, 61 years old, widow of George W. Hill, died yesterday morning 
at 1:40 o'clock at a Norfolk hospital. She was a native of Boston and had 
resided in Norfolk for 28 years, residing at 1709 Elmwood Avenue. The body will 
be taken from H.D. Oliver's Funeral Apartments, Freemason Street, to St. Mary's 
Catholic Church, tomorrow morning for funeral services at 10 o'clock, the Rev. 
R.B. Keely, of Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Ocean View, officiating. Burial 
will be in St. Mary's Cemetery.

HILL, ELIZA - On Saturday, April 14, 1923, at 1:40 o’clock a.m., ELIZA, widow of 
George W. Hill, in the 62d year of her age.
Remains will be taken from H. D. Oliver’s Funeral Apartments, No. 610-12 East 
Freemason street, to St. Mary’s Catholic Church for funeral services MONDAY 
MORNING at 10 o’clock. Friends of the family are invited to attend. Interment, 
St. Mary’s Cemetery.
