Norfolk - Mrs. Josephine Hilliard of 2736 Westminster Ave., the wife of Leslie 
Hilliard Sr. and a native of Norfolk, died Monday, Jan. 13, in a hospital.

She was a member of C. H. Mason Memorial Church of God in Christ.

Also surviving are five daughters, Miss Jean Hassell, Miss Hazel Hilliard, Miss 
Diane Hilliard, Mrs. Judy Grimstead, and Miss Cheryl Hilliard, two sons, Leslie 
Hillard Jr. and Michael Hilliard, and two sisters, Mrs. Hazel Covington and Mrs. 
Mary Hall, all of Norfolk;  a brother, David Riddick of Philadelphia;  and two 
grandchildren.

The body was taken to Graves Funeral Home.

(Per death certificate DOB 09/19/1914)

Burial in Calvary Cemetery.
