Norfolk - Thomas L. Hilliard of 2804 Kimball Terrace was given a funeral service 
Saturday in St. Paul C.M.E. Church by the Rev. L. L. Craig and was buried in 
Calvary Cemetery with Morning Glory Funeral Home in charge.

Mr. Hilliard, a native of Edgecomb County, NC, died March 29 in a local 
hospital. He was the husband of Mrs. Frances Hilliard and a son of the late 
Thomas Hilliard and Mrs. Elizabeth Hilliard. He was a member of Palm Tree 
Baptist Church, Whaleyville.

He is survived by two sons, James Saunders of Boston and Thomas Hilliard Jr. of 
Baltimore; and four daughters, Mrs. Inez Felton of Baltimore and Mrs. Beatrice 
Pitt, Mrs. Mary E. Jones and Mrs. Frances H. Vanderleeuw of Norfolk.
