NORFOLK - The Rev. Rodian Hines, 72, retired evangelistic minister, of 2846 
Bayne Ave. died Friday in a Norfolk hospital after a short illness.

He was a son of the Rev. Jart Hines and Mrs. Lenora Hines and the widower of 
Mrs. Carrie Hines. A native of Sterling, Ga., he lived in Norfolk 44 years.

He was a member of Solid Rock Disciples Church.

Surviving are one son, Richard Hines of Smithfield; one daughter, Mrs. Idell 
Miller of Norfolk; and one sister, Mrs. Luvenia Orr of Long Island, N.Y.

A funeral service will be held in Solid Rock Disciples Church Tuesday at 2 p.m. 
by the Rev. Alex Warner, pastor. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery.
