NORFOLK - Charlie Roosevelt Hines, 58, of 601 Landing St., the husband of Mrs.
Thelma Hines and a native of Wilson NC, died Tuesday in his home.

He was a Baptist.

Survivors also include three daughters, Mrs. Shirley Grey of Moyock NC, and
Misses Diane Hines and Deborah Hines of New York; a son, Jerome Hines of
Norfolk; and a grandchild.

A funeral will be held Friday at 1 p.m. in Jones Funeral Home Chapel by the Rev.
Jackson A. Browne.  burial will be in Calvary Cemetery.  The family will be at
the home of his wife, 902 Wood St.
