Norfolk - A funeral service for Mrs. Susie Hines of New York City will be held 
Friday, Sept. 13 in St. James Holiness Church of Christ Disciples. Bishop 
Garland E. Benson will officiate.

A native of Norfolk, she was a daughter of the late Robert and Mrs. Julia Jones, 
and the widow of Barclay Hines.

Mrs. Hines was a counselor at Children’s Shelter and a member of Abyssinia 
Baptist Church, New York City.

She is survived by a sister, Mrs. Cora Daniels; and a nephew, the Rev. Harvey 
Daniels Jr., both of Norfolk.

Interment will be in Mt. Olive Cemetery with Chatman Funeral Home in charge.

The family will be at the home of Mrs. Cora Daniels, 580 Brambleton avenue.
