Norfolk - Final rites were held Wednesday for Mrs. Mary Hinton in Riddick 
Funeral Chapel by the Rev. J. J. Freeman.  Burial was in Calvary Cemetery.

Mrs. Hinton, who lived at 813 Avenue B, died in her home March 21, following a 
short illness.

An Emporia native, she was a daughter of the late Giles Harris and the wife of 
Grady Hinton.

Other than her husband, she is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Lillian Striden;  
two brothers, Rufus Harris of Emporia and Langston Harris of Baltimore;  and a 
sister, Mrs. Lizzie Davis of Norfolk.
