James A. "Po Boy" Hinton Sr., 83, of the 900 block of Westgate Court, passed away at his residence Oct. 27, 2005. He was a native of Norfolk. Mr. Hinton was a retired packer from the Naval Supply Center after 40 years of service. He was a member of the United House of Prayer, Norfolk, where he served as a past master. He was also a member of the New Light Masonic Temple. He is survived by his children, Adolphus Hinton, Eumilta Hinton, Lionel Monseque, Bobby, Elka and Debbie Rivers; a special daughter, Lazette Clanton; special niece, Vida Hinton; and a host of other relatives and friends. A funeral will be held Sunday at 2:30 p.m. at United House of Prayer, 1206 Church St., Norfolk. Apostle W. Scott will be presiding. Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery Monday. There will be a wake today from 7 to 8 p.m. at Graves Funeral Home chapel.
