DEATH OF AN OLD FORMER CITIZEN
Mr. Wm. M. Hipkins, a former resident of Norfolk, where he was in business for 
years, but who afterwards removed to Baltimore, where he was also in business, for 
the last twenty-five years, died in that city Wednesday at the advanced age of 
seventy-two years. He is well remembered by old citizens and has many friends 
here. His remains will arrive today from Baltimore and the funeral will take place 
from St. Paul's Church, upon the arrival of the Bay Line steamer.
