Harold D. Hiser, 77, of Virginia Beach, VA, passed away on Monday, July 17, 2006.

Born in Oklahoma, Mr. Hiser was the son of the late Alva and Eula Hiser, and the 
husband to the late Virginia D. Hiser. He was a US Naval veteran of Korea and 
Vietnam and a retired C.P.O. with 22 years of service.

He is survived by three sons, Robert Andrew Hiser and wife Janet of Huntsville, 
AL, Michael M. Hiser and wife Shirley of Virginia Beach, VA and Harold D. Hiser, 
Jr. of Virginia Beach, VA; three sisters, Leatha Ferla of San Jose, CA, Eula 
Dougherty of Salinas, CA and Mabel Grabeel of Los Gatos, CA; and a grandchild, 
Caleb Hiser of Huntsville, AL.

A funeral service will be conducted at 11 a.m. on Thursday at Hollomon-Brown 
Funeral Home, Bayside Chapel, with Chaplain Keith Willyard officiating. Burial 
will follow in St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery. The family will receive friends on 
Wednesday evening from 7 to 8:30 p.m. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, 
memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society or the Junior 
Diabetes Foundation.
