Virginian-Pilot  June 13, 1990
Virginia Delores Rano Hiser, of the 1300 block of Braddock Ave., a retired real 
estate agent, died June 11, 1990, in a Portsmouth hospital.

Mrs. Hiser, a native of Norfolk, was a member of St. Gregory the Great Catholic 
Church.

Survivors include her husband, Harold D. Hiser; three sons, Robert A. Hiser of 
Huntsville, Ala., and Michael M. Hiser and Harold D. Hiser Jr., both of Norfolk; 
two sisters, Mary Yanez and Sara Morris, and a brother, Frank Rano, all of 
Norfolk; and a grandchild.

A Mass of the Resurrection will be conducted at 10 a.m. Thursday in St. Gregory 
the Great Church by Rev. Paschal N. Kneip. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery. 
A Rosary service will be held at 7:30 p.m. today in Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, 
Bayside Chapel, with visitation after the service.

Memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
