Hobbs and a former women's fraternal leader, died Tuesday in a hospital. Mrs. Hobbs, a native of Norfolk, was past noble grand of Virginia Rebekah Lodge 13 and a district representative of the Women's Benefit Association. She was the oldest living member of Bayside Christian Church. Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Inez H. Moore of Virginia Beach; two sons, Cecil E. Hobbs of Yorktown and Edmund W. Hobbs of San Diego, Calif.; five grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and a step-great-great-grandchild. A funeral will be held Friday at 2 p.m. in Bayside Christian Church by the Rev. David Humphreys. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery, Norfolk, with Hollomon- Brown Funeral Home, Bayside Chapel, in charge. The family will be at Bayside Chapel tonight from 7 to 9 for visitation and also at her home. The family requests that flowers be omitted and memorial donations may be made to Bayside Christian Church, 2224 Greenwell Road, Virginia Beach.
