Mrs. Handy Hobson - Funeral services for Mrs. Handy Hobson of Appomattox street, 
who died last Thursday at her home after a short illness, were held at First 
Baptist Church with the Rev. J. C. Diamond officiating. Mrs. Nancy T. Wheeler sang 
and Mrs. Alice Hawkins, Willie Vaughan, and Mrs. Zenobia Simpson read condolences. 
She is survived by two daughters, two sons, two sisters, six grandchildren, and 
two great-grandchildren. Interment was made in Mt. Olive Cemetery with the Wheeler 
Funeral Home in charge.
