Mrs. Betty Hockaday, 62, of 809 E. Berkley avenue, died April 21,in a local 
hospital.  She is survived by her husband, Tennyson S. Hockaday.

Funeral services were conducted April 24 at 2 p.m. from the Pretlow Funeral 
Chapel.  The Rev. W. B. Westbrook was assisted by the Rev. C. E. Upton.

She was a member of New Central Baptist Church and the United Order of 
Tents.  Burial was in Mt. Olive Cemetery by the Pretlow Funeral Home.

name Sykes)
