Virginian-Pilot November 2, 1933
Mrs. Pattie Peters Hodges, widow of Col. Harry Hodges, a native and former 
resident of Norfolk, died yesterday morning at 11:30 o'clock at Lynchburg, where 
she has resided for many years. She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Robert 
Pegram, of Richmond, and Mrs. Holcomb Adams, of Lynchburg; two sons, Samuel 
Hodges, of Norfolk, and Richard Hodges, of New York; several grandchildren, and 
one sister, Mrs. L. R. Britt, of Norfolk. Remains will be taken from H. D. 
Oliver's Funeral Apartments, 610-12 East Freemason street, Norfolk, to Elmwood 
Cemetery, for services at the grave, today at 12 o'clock noon, with the Rev. V. C. 
Franks, D.D., rector of St. Paul's Church, officiating.
