Jolliff Hodges, aged 65, died at the family residence, 1325 Twenty-first street, South Norfolk, yesterday afternoon at 4:45 o'clock, after an illness of 13 weeks. She was a native of Norfolk County and had made her home in South Norfolk 20 years. She was the daughter of the late Josiah and Mrs. Sarah Ann Kilgore Jolliff and widow of Morris W. Hodges. She is survived by three sons, Cecil W. Sawyer and J. Rudolph Hodges, of South Norfolk, and Maurice K. Hodges, of Norfolk; one daughter, Mrs. C. E. White, of South Norfolk; one step-daughter, Mrs. Susan Marshall, of Norfolk; two step-sons, L. B. Hodges, of Columbus, Ga., and W. F. Hodges, of Portlock; two brothers, J. O. Jolliff, of Washington, D.C., and Josiah Jolliff, of Norfolk, and seven grandchildren. She was a member of the Chesapeake Avenue Methodist Church Tuesday afternoon for funeral services at 4 o’clock. Interment will be in Elmwood Cemetery.
