She was a native of Camden County, N.C., and had resided in this section 54 years. She was the daughter of Thomas and Nancy Robertson Williams and widow of James Thomas Hodges. She is survived by one daughter, Mrs. J. O. Eure; one sister, Mrs C. S. Bell, of Chapanoke, N.C.; seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren, all of Norfolk, and two nieces, Mrs. L. W. Mann, of South Norfolk, and Mrs. M. B. Brothers, of Elizabeth City, N.C. Mrs. Hodges was a member of Sawyers Creek Baptist Church. The body was removed to the Francis A. Gay Funeral Home, Rodgers and Ohio streets, South Norfolk, where funeral services will be conducted Friday afternoon at 3 o'clock. Interment will be in Riverside Memorial Park.
