Norfolk Virginian March 7, 1893

Mr. John H. Hodges, one of the best known citizens of Norfolk County, died 
suddenly at his house, about five miles from Berkley, yesterday morning at 10 
o'clock of paralysis, in the 58th year of his age. His funeral will take place 
from the residence this afternoon at 2 o'clock.
