Virginian Pilot and The Norfolk Landmark October 5, 1934

Miss Frances Burnett Hodgson, daughter of the late Herbert E. and Medora 
Eldridge Hodgson, a native and lifelong resident of Norfolk, died at 1 o'clock 
yesterday morning at the residence, 6-A Spotsylvania Manor Apartments, 522 
Spotsylvania Avenue. 
She is survived by one sister, Mrs. William W. Davis, of Syracuse, N.Y.; four 
brothers, Frank B., Albert E. and Vivian B. Hodgson, of Norfolk and Herbert D. 
Hodgson, of Miami, Fla. and several nieces and nephews. Services will be held at 
H.D. Oliver's Funeral Apartments, 610-612 East Freemason Street, this afternoon 
at 4 o'clock with the Rev. W. Taylor Willis, rector of St. Luke's Church, of 
which Miss Hodgson was a member, officiating. Interment will be in Elmwood 
Cemetery.
