Norfolk Landmark October 9, 1885
                     DEATH OF A YOUNG MAN.
Mr. Childrick P. Hodsden, a former resident and well-known young man of 
Portsmouth, brother of Mr. T. D. Hodsden, of the post office, died yesterday 
morning, at the residence of his sister, No. 146 Charlotte street, Norfolk, of 
heart disease. He was thirty-six years of age. The funeral will take place this 
morning at 11 o'clock, from his late home, No. 146 Charlotte street.
