She was in the seventy-fourth year of her age and had been ill two weeks. The funeral will be held at Monumental Methodist Church, Portsmouth, Friday afternoon at 2 o'clock. Interment will be private in Elmwood Cemetery. Miss Hodsden was a native of Isle of Wight County. She is survived by one brother, T.D. Hodsden of Portsmouth; three nephews, M.H. Lash and R.L. Lash of Newport News and D.L. Hodsden of Portsmouth and five nieces, Mrs. Hugh Tarrel of Norfolk, Mrs. Sorey of Portsmouth, Mrs. John Willis Jr. of Norfolk and Miss Mildred and Miss Nannie Cross of Portsmouth. She was a sister of the late Mrs. B.A. Johnson of Norfolk.
