Virginian-Pilot December 9, 1975
NORFOLK — Mrs. Erma Debnam Hoffecker, 80, a Navy veteran of World War I and a 
native of High Point, N.C., died Monday in a nursing home.
She was a Methodist.
Survivors include a son, Robert D. Holland Sr of Washington, two sisters, Mrs. 
Idella D. Treakle of Norfolk and Mrs. Miles L. Chappell of Virginia Beach; three 
grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.
The body was taken to Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Tidewater Drive. Funeral and 
burial will be private.
