NORFOLK — Charles Herbert (Herb) Hoffman, 47, of 3060 Danwood Drive, a native of 
Norfolk, died Monday in Norfolk.
Hoffman was a cemetery keeper for the city of Norfolk, most recently employed at 
Forest Lawn Cemetery. He was a member of Knights of Pythias.
Survivors include his wife, Evelyn L. Hoffman; two sons, Charles H. Hoffman Jr. 
and W. Anton Hoffman, both of Norfolk; and two brothers, Philip G. Hoffman Jr. 
of Ormond Beach, Fla., and Walter C. Hoffman of Greensboro, N.C.
The graveside service will be conducted at noon Wednesday in Elmwood Cemetery by 
the Rev. Larry C. Miles.
The family will be at Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Tidewater Drive Chapel, from 
7 to 9 p.m. today.
