NORFOLK — Mrs. Grace Brewer Hoffman, 83, of 3060 Danwood Drive, the widow of 
Philip Glen Hoffman and a native of Danville, died Tuesday in Norfolk.
She had lived in this area for 65 years and was a member of Lafayette Presbyterian 
Church.
Survivors include three sons, Philip G. Hoffman Jr. of Almond Beach, Fla., Walter 
C. Hoffman of Greensboro, N.C., and Charles Herbert Hoffman of Norfolk; five 
grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.
A graveside funeral will be held Thursday at 3 p.m. in Elmwood Cemetery by the 
Rev. Larry C. Miles. The family will be at Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Tidewater 
Drive Chapel, tonight from 7 to 9.
